Important Routine steps that you should not miss
CTM regimen i.e cleansing toning & Moisturizing
The following simple step-by-step procedure covers the basic types of products that everyone should use, as well as the order in which they should be used, day and night. These steps apply regardless of the skin type.
Cleansing: -  It is very important to clean your face twice a day either by using facial cleanser or face wash.  Face cleanser expels stubborn dirt and pollutants from your skin and make it feel fresh & rejuvenated. Know your skin type before purchasing any product. Ask anyone with a beautiful skin tone they will tell you products they have been using respective of their skin type.
Toning :- Toners are great in maintaining PH of your skin.  It also refreshes your skin and also acts a s hydrating agent for your skin. Toners can help close pores and reduce cell space after cleaning, reducing the penetration of impurities and environmental contaminants into the skin.
Mositurising:- It is very important to keep your skin hydrated and moisturized. Timely application of moisturizer keeps wrinkles and fine lines away from your skin. It also protects the facial skin from the various effects of weather conditions, such as heat and UV rays.
A broad spectrum sunscreen is a must. This is a non – negotiable product for you. A lightweight sunscreen which can prevent damage to your skin should always be applied atleast half an hour before you go out in sun.
You can always add various products to your skin care routine to take it from beginner to advance level.
Scrubs, serums, anti acne creams, under eye creams, anti wrinkle cream can also be added to your skin care routine.
But it is important that you know your skin type before purchasing any product from the market. Another piece of advice is to avoid using harsh chemicals on your skin instead switch over to natural or ayurvedic products which will maintain the natural texture of your skin. Let us discuss the benefits of adding few more products to your basic skin care regimen:-
Serum - Serums help to lessen the visible signs of aging for healthier, younger looking skin. Serums contain antioxidants and other anti-aging ingredients which will help protect your skin from environmental stress, including visible effects of pollution.
Under eye cream :- Although lot of people include an eye cream as an essential product in their skin care routine, for those who have a more basic routine, it becomes rather a complement. However, if you have the start of wrinkles under the eyes, dark circles or puffiness, an eye cream should be part of your routine.
Anti – wrinkle cream :- Treat specific skin problems, such as open pores, dehydration, opacity, discoloration, etc. Its light formulas work in synergy with your other skincare products to quickly achieve the results you are looking for. If you want to keep looking young then add this to your skin care routine.
Although this is just the beginning, there are many skincare products that you can add to your routine as you go from collagen enriched creams to blends for the night. Pay special attention to your skin and your needs and adjust your diet according to the weather. That’s all for a beautiful looking skin.

Protecting Your Skin from the Sun –An ayurvedic perspective

With the onset of summer our exposure to the sun will increase as more and more of us will go outside for something or the other. But by increasing sun exposure, exposure to harmful ultraviolet rays also increases. Fortunately, Ayurveda gives us remedies that we can use to keep our skin healthy and radiant.
But the exposure to the sun is also necessary. It is the best natural source of vitamin D, which is necessary for the absorption of calcium and healthy bones. Many doctors today recommend 15 minutes of direct exposure to the mild sun on the hands and face to absorb the minimum daily requirement of vitamin D. short periods of sun exposure very early in the morning are soothing and gentle to the skin, and allow even very sensitive skin to absorb the necessary vitamin D. The challenge is to maximize the benefit of the sun and at the same time protect it from damage.
Avoid harsh chemicals on your skin
To protect our skin from damage we apply layers of chemical products with a thought process that we are protecting our skin but on the contrary we cause further damage to our skin by not providing it what it needs. These chemicals make the skin photosensitive, so more likely to be sunburned and damaged.
Adequate diet
It is also a good idea to cool the body from the inside if the skin is very photosensitive. Eating green leafy vegetables and fruits like raisins, sweet and juicy pears, sweet apples and pomegranates, for example, will help nourish and restore balance in the skin.
Use Sunscreen to protect the skin
For daily use and casual sun exposure, apply sunscreen to the sensitive areas of the face, neck and chest. Stay active in the sun and try to avoid direct exposure during peak hours between 10 am and 3 pm.
Incase of a sunburn use a combination of turmeric, which has antibacterial and antibacterial properties and yogurt. Yogurt is good for recovering the acid and alkaline balance in the skin and acts as a coolant to soothe burned skin immediately.
There are other products also which can help restore balance of your skin. Cryo Mask is an excellent mask to refresh the skin of the face. Apply evenly, except in the eye area, and rinse with warm water at room temperature after 10-15 minutes. Cotton pads soaked in cucumber water can be placed over closed eyes . Another good way to remove Tan from the facial skin is by using D tan face pack. Rinse your face with water after 10-15 min application, and then apply The HEALING DAY CREAM. It contains ingredients that are recognized in Ayurveda for helping to increase the long-term natural resistance of the skin to sun damage, as well as antioxidants to combat free radical damage. This cream with the combination of almonds, lavender and antioxidants not only restores the luminosity of the skin by filling it with vitamins and Ayurvedic herbs, but also prevents premature aging of the skin. It also has moisturizing and soothing properties. This cream is more suitable for normal and dry skin, and is unisex. It is the best cream without parabens and chemicals. This cream is not a sunscreen, but it can help keep skin cells healthy and well nourished.
Suggestions for balancing skin in summer
1. Stay hydrated.
Drink plenty of fluids to counter the dehaydration of skin water
2. Cool with coconut
Refreshing coconut comes to the rescue with refreshing water and moisturizing oils.
3. Moisturize with food.
Ripe summer fruits such as peaches, nectarines, plums and pears are exactly what your skin needs to refresh and hydrate in the summer.
5. Mists and toners.
